Monitoring Student Internet Access

With all the hoopla that?s surrounded the Children?s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requirement that schools and libraries block access to certain types of Internet sites, it?s easy to forget that a protected environment is just one piece of the monitoring puzzle. Comprehensive monitoring also requires that administrators and teachers keep tabs on the kinds of activities students engage in while online, even when objectionable sites are blocked.
