MISSION

Our Mission at Burke County Alternative School is to assist students with conduct and/or academic challenges, thereby enabling them to return to the regular school setting demonstrating appropriate behavior and academic readiness for success.

Our Beliefs

We Believe:

• Self-disciplined students achieve greater success.
• Each student should have a safe, clean and orderly environment for the learning and teaching process.
• Instruction should emphasize fairness, respect, and responsibility.
• All students should be actively engaged in the learning process.
• Education should be adapted to meet the needs of the student.
• The school must reach out to the parents and other stakeholders to secure their involvement in the educational process of students.
