  REQUEST FOR GENERAL CONTRACTORS QUALIFICATIONS

Sealed proposals from qualified General Contractors will be received by Burke County Board of Education, Owner, in the offices of Burke County Board of Education at 789 Burke Veterans Parkway Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, until 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on March 4, 2010.

 
Contractors meeting the required pre-qualifications will be notified and will be eligible to bid for the construction of the project listed below:

  1. Burke County Early Head Start - Old Blakeney Elementary School

The procedures for contracts as established by the Georgia Local Government Public Works Construction Law, O.C.G.A., 36-91-1 shall be followed.

A package with requirements for pre-qualifications may be obtained with a written request via U.S. Mail at the office of James W. Buckley & Associates, Inc., 7 East Congress Street, Suite 800, Savannah, Georgia 31401, Attn: Erich Tolksdorf, (912) 447-1080. Written request shall be on company letterhead and include firm name, principal (owner), phone and fax numbers, and mailing address, with project name, dated and signed.

The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. Oral, fax, or email responses will not be acceptable.
