As the School Counselor at Burke County Alternative, my goal is to assist students with their academic, personal/social, and career planning.

My education began in the D.C. Public Schools where I attended high school at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and later attended Savannah State College, Georgia Southern College, Georgia State University, Augusta State University, and Georgia Southern University. I have earned a B.S. in Communicative Arts with an emphasis in Radio Broadcast, M.Ed. in Counselor Education in School Counseling and

I am currently pursuing my doctorate of counselor education and supervision at Argosy University in Atlanta.

I am an advocate of William Glasser's Reality Theory because I believe the key to student achievement is to accept responsibility for your own actions as a means of affecting positive change in attendance, behavior and academics.
