Dr. Thaddeus L. Shubert is a Professional School Counselor at Burke County Academy of success since 2005.  My goal is to assist students with their academic, personal/social, and career planning through individual, small group counseling, and classroom guidance.
My educational journey began in the D.C. Public Schools where I attended Benning Elementary, Carter G. Woodson Jr. High, and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.  After graduation, I matriculated at Savannah State College, Georgia Southern College, Georgia State University, Augusta State University, Argosy University (Atlanta) and Georgia Southern University.  I have earned a B.S. in Communicative Arts with an emphasis in Radio Broadcast, M.Ed and Ed.S in Counselor Education in School Counseling, and an Ed.D in Educational Administration.
I am an advocate of William Glasser's Reality Therapy because the key to student achievement is to accept responsibility for your actions as a means of affecting positive change in attendance, behavior, and academics.
