school was the place that I felt loved and valued I didn't have that at home and a lot of our kids don't either and I have a lot of baggage with me and my teachers never gave up on me they showed up for me and they were there in ways Beyond here's information you need to know they saw past the front that I put up for all the things that I had inside of me and loves me and Laura Hurst the science teacher Ali I butted heads with that woman so bad and she didn't she showed me the example of you might be tough but I'm going to love you anyways and I'm going to make sure that you're successful and I'm going to hold you to a higher standard and she still does so the relationship I had with my teachers went beyond Hart County High School they were always supportive of me and college when I was paying the respiratory therapist they were proud and let me know and then when I became a teacher or they were just all my gosh if I can help you I'm there and they still are I'll text him I'll message them and they they still have my back that's the teacher that I hoped I hope to be one of them
