women's history month for me means that we're going to shine a spotlight on women in history who we may have lost their voices may not have been heard Maya Angelou it what is 1 my favorite for someone who did not speak for five years her words have impacted so many and just made that connection and I have a caged bird and in it just a reminder that we can all sing right now my big one is probably Ruth Bader Ginsburg I have one of her quotes up in the classroom and she says that you're supposed to lead in a way that inspires other people to join you and I try to remember that and I'm trying to be an advocate for Change and education is some people think women are just side Parts but they're really the main part till good society and it's not like you're just doing house boys and making new clothes for your family a lot of ladies and women have made that possible for me and know me about them is a real privilege. my sister and my mom's like right I'm glad that they can do everything a boy can do now instead of like not being able to vote and stuff back then women can do any they want to and it's very empowering and the only way that we're going to make things more Equitable for kids for communities is to make sure that we are purposeful and making the voices her that may I have been heard throughout history
