the burglar she project to me means that we are taking a stance we are saying that our community not just our kids and our school our community deserves better to sit we wanted to implement a program at our school in across the district that we felt like that could raise the reading achievement levels of our students because our data showed that that was a neat implementation for us has been steady we started but once we kind of got our footing we have continued to move and I think grow in that process as with any new program it is there's a learning curve but I don't think you see here are very mindful that they want to do things right and I want to do it to the best of their ability to literacy project honestly starts here I mean we are the foundation where the first exposure that they get to literacy to reading thymine kind of our love for what we do is how they kind of go through how they View School how they view reading so if it's not something that we make fun if is not something that you have them kind of take ownership for then it's not something that they're going to feel is important to them the most important thing for me is to have my kids leave me with what they need to be successful at the and in life and I know that if they can read them there isn't anything that they can't potentially do I know that hmh guides us we have are we can I glance and it lays it out and we can dig in there can we have our skills in our strategies and they loved anchor charts like her journals we use the half sheets for the journal and then we lift him up and we make him work and we don't forget about it that I really liked about his program is the fact that I'm able to see differentiated data for all of my student and that allows me to approve them play some remediate is needed I'm able to focus on the skills that they asked okay happy or what when you hear call me what you do but here it says humorlessly this project and the way that we've redesigned our curriculum has taken that strong emphasis off of them performing at a certain lights and meeting them where they're at to watch them grow it's not about hitting a number anymore it's about helping them grow to become better readers in general not just passing a test sting and I'll give you all the best as far as I know it's going to be able to learn more on the system and the program we have our elements of drama and we started the kick-off Armando with The Saga of haikaiss Bill and then we can eggs it to Gigi in the reader to really connect it and so world of modern technology what else than Sleeping Beauty vocabulary just lends itself then why couldn't we use the stage that has a pool leaf and velvet curtains and a sound system I want students leave school if they have that basic understanding of your how to read how to comprehend they'll be prepared for whatever life throws in them they'll be prepared in any situation any career so that's one of the major things that that means to me just reading Robin tomorrow
