Which school will my child attend? 
 
The Burke County Public School System serves approximately 4,200 students in grades Pre-K through 12th.

How do I register my child for grades K-12?
 
Please contact the school office to schedule an appointment to register your child. Also, please print and complete the documents below, and bring them with you to your registration appointment. Other required documents are as follows: 
  • Certified copy of child's birth certificate
  • Georgia Certificate of Immunization
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of residency (current lease, mortgage, electric, water or gas bill)
  • A record of Eye/Ear/Dental/Nutrition Exams
  • Transcript or last Report Card (High School only)
How do I register my child for Pre-K?
 
Your child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2020 to enter the Pre-K Program this fall. Please contact the school office to schedule an appointment to register your child for Pre-K. Please print and complete the documents below, and bring them with you to your registration appointment. Other required documents are as follows: 
  • Certified copy of child's birth certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of residency (current lease, mortgage, electric, water or gas bill)
  • If your child is 4 years old at the time of registration, bring record of Immunization and Eye/Ear/Dental/Nutrition Exams
