Fundamentals of Organic Farming and Gardening: Lesson Sign Up
This curriculum gives instructors lessons, experiments, and activities to teach the scientific basis for Organic Farming and Gardening. This curriculum was developed by Alexander McGregor, Jerry Larson, and Lynn Pugh of Cane Creek Farm with funding from Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) and the Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF).
This curriculum can be used in its entirety as a full course, or selected sections can be inserted as a supplement to a general course on agriculture or gardening. The design assumes that instructors will have access to curricula that cover general agricultural topics, such as tillage and cultivation equipment, and greenhouse management. Information in these areas is limited in this curriculum to specific organic management techniques which may not be included in existing curricula.
All lessons are conducted virtually via google meets or zoom if that is preferable. We will integrate Jamboard, skype for the class and flipgrid. Be sure that you schedule your classes in advance so that your slots are not taken. Can't wait to work with you!

Course Material will be sent upon registration for on demand as well as Live. Can't wait to see you in the garden.
Class Lessons will be taught just after the frost so get ready. Upon registration I will provide you with instructions for picking up you seeds, soil and container to begin germinating over the break. Once you come back I will collect your sprouts so be ready to get your hands dirty.
