Board Members

The Burke County Board of Education holds its regular monthly meetings at 5:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month. Meetings take place in the Johnny Jenkins Board Room at the Burke County BOE Central Office, located at 789 Burke Veterans Parkway, Waynesboro, GA 30830.

In our commitment to transparent governance, Burke County Schools utilizes SIMBLI/eBOARD. Through this platform, the public can easily access Board of Education meeting agendas, district policies, our Strategic Plan, and SACS/AdvancED External Reviews. We are proud to share that the Burke County Board of Education is recognized as a 2024 GSBA Exemplary School Board.

While monthly meetings are held in person at the Board of Education office, we also provide a simultaneous broadcast via Zoom. Links are posted to our district website and social media on the day of the meeting. For those unable to join live, meetings are archived on our YouTube channel (@burkecountypublicschoolsga844) within two business days.
