Graduation Ceremony Information
- Graduation will be held in the J.D. Smith Auditorium.
- BCHS Commencement is scheduled for May 29th at 6:30 PM.
- Graduates should arrive in the assigned classroom on the 300 and 400 hallway no later than 5:15 PM for further instruction and lineup
- Mandatory graduation practice is on May 28th at 8:30 AM. You will be assigned your classroom at that time. Please be on time!!

Clothing/Attire
- Shoes:
Please do not wear the following shoes: Sneakers/tennis shoes, bedroom shoes, flip flops, backless shoes or slides, Crocs; Shoes must be black - Dresses: Black or Navy - Your dress/skirt should not be longer than your gown.
- Bottoms: Black or Navy slacks. Ladies can wear pants. No Leggings and No Jeans
- CAPS: Caps cannot be decorated
- IF YOU ARE NOT PROPERLY DRESSED, YOU WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE CEREMONY
- Students will receive 7 tickets each
- Only ticket holders will be allowed entrance
- Everyone must have a ticket
- Children 6 and older are allowed to attend; Children 5 and under may not attend.
- Guest seating is assigned and will be noted on your ticket. All tickets will have seat/row numbers. Please remind your guests to sit in their designated seats. Tickets will be given to students at the mandatory graduation practice.
- Students should arrive at the front entrance of BCHS no later than 5:15 PM on May 29th.
- Report to your assigned classroom on the 300 or 400 hall.
- The front gate will lock at 5:30 PM
- There will be no parking on the bypass.
- The processional will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
- A Herff Jones representative will be on-site during practice for any student concerns or if you still need to purchase your graduation attire.
- All fines must be paid in full by Noon, May 22, 2026, to participate in the class of 2026 commencement
- You must be a confirmed graduate by Noon, May 22, 2026. There will be no exceptions.
- Students will sign and pick up diplomas on the 200 Hallway after graduation. Classrooms will be assigned in alphabetical order by last name, with the signs visibly posted on the wall.
- Only students are allowed in the diploma pick-up area.
- To fully embrace this special occasion, we kindly ask all graduating students to leave their cellular devices with a parent/guardian during the commencement ceremony. This will allow you to be fully present as you celebrate your achievements and create unforgettable memories with your peers, family, and friends.
- You must be a confirmed graduate by Noon, May 22, 2026.
- Dress code will be enforced - Top to bottom or hat to shoes
- Caps will not be tossed
- Caps will not be decorated
- Stoles must be Herff Jones, IB, and/or military-issued
