Medication

The Burke County Public School System encourages parents to give medication at home whenever possible. However, if you have a child that will be attending school and he/she will need medication during the school day (this includes daily and emergency medication), you must bring the medication to the nurse and a Medication Authorization Form must be completed. For all medications that will be given greater than a two week period, the doctor must also fill out/sign a Medication Authorization Form.
