Amy Jenkins-Nunnally, Public Information Officer - About me

For 27 years, a passion for clear and effective communication has defined my career in education. My journey began at Waynesboro Primary School as an Administrative Assistant, eventually transitioning into technical support after earning my CompTIA A+ Certification.

In 2007, I combined my technical background with my communication roots to serve as the Public Information Officer for Burke County Public Schools. My commitment to the field extended statewide as Vice President of Communications for GSPRA (2018–2021) and locally through my work with the United Way of the CSRA Cabinet. From my early days anchoring high school morning announcements to my role today, I remain dedicated to keeping our community informed and connected.

In 2018, I received the prestigious Marie Wofford Professional Growth Award presented by the Georgia Public Relations Association (GSPRA). The Marie Wofford Professional Growth Award recognizes a GSPRA member for outstanding work in the field of public relations.
