Students who are not yet proficient in English are considered to be English Learners (ELs) and are eligible for language support services until they meet the exit criteria set by the Georgia Department of Education. The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program works to empower students to graduate college and career ready by providing effective instruction to improve language proficiency and academic achievement.
