Our Division
The Division of Teaching, Learning, and Supports provides leadership, coordination, and support across ten departments working together to strengthen teaching and learning and promote student success throughout Burke County Public Schools.
Our work reaches across the instructional and support systems that serve students, educators, schools, and families. Through collaboration, purposeful use of data, high-quality professional learning, and strong systems of support, we work to create the conditions in which every learner can thrive.

It is an honor to serve as Assistant Superintendent of Teaching, Learning, and Supports for Burke County Public Schools. I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve the students, educators, families, and schools of our community.
Throughout more than 26 years in education, I have had the privilege of serving as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, district curriculum and professional learning director, and assistant superintendent. Each experience has strengthened my belief that student success is not the work of one person, one department, or one school. It is the result of a collective commitment to excellence.
The ten departments within our Division have distinct responsibilities, but we share one purpose: creating the conditions in which students and educators can thrive.
